Do I have to pay to enter in the tournament?
WMT entrance is 100% FREE! Just register by clicking “Register” on the Homepage and follow the steps. Our objective is to give any artists the possibility to promote their music without spending money…
Which country can participate?
No restriction, WMT is worldwide! Compare artists ‘talent around the globe is a real challenge and it can be so interesting. Discover new cultures by listening music is just amazing, perhaps will it give you all new ideas to create new tracks…
Can I submit more than one track?
Rules are strict on this…you can participate in all categories only once … for example, if you are a Dee-jay and you want to participate in the “D-j electro” tournament, you will upload one and only one track in this category but you can still participate in the “D-j hip-hop” tournament.
Can I send CDs?
This is not possible…we want you to upload your tracks in mp3 while registering for the tournament, that’s the easiest/fastest/cheapest way. We know some of you have CDs ready but it doesn’t take long to convert it (see following FAQ if you don’t know how to do it).
Is quality of recording important?
We just want you to do your best to provide us the best quality you can have. Afterwards, we will listen to your track and judge if the quality is good enough to play it online…of course if the quality is not good enough, you will automatically be informed in order that you provide us something better. But of course, as WMT’visitors will vote for you, if the quality of the sound is great, the first impression could be better.
Will I have to sign anything if I win?
You won’t have to sign anything, you are free to get any contracts after the tournament and of course that’s what we hope for you.
If you get signed and your music is still
on our website. Please let us know as we can erase it from the website.
What can I get if I win the tournament?
At this moment we do our best to promote you. You will get a place on the frontpage and promotion in most of the links of our partners. Also in the future there will be other nice prices.
For how long is my inscription at the tournament?
1 month. As the tournament starts over again every month, inscription is limited. You can’t register your sound for several months. Of course you don’t have to register again but you have to go on your account and upload your track or another one.
When are the winners announced?
Every 1st of every 2 months, same date as the new tournament starts.

Is it legal do download music on WMT?
WMT is 100% legal! All the artists you will find on this website are unsigned artists (amateurs). Some of them are probably the future of music but now they are actually just trying to make it happen and it will be thanks to you by encouraging them while visiting WMT website very often!
Why should I vote for the artists?
Because they did their best to present you their music and they want to know what you sincerely think about what they are making! But most of all, voting for an artist, good or bad mark, will give you “WMT chips”…
What are the “WMT chips”?
They are the way to get the music for free! Register on our website, become a member of our community, start to vote to get some “WMT chips” and deal your chips against music!!!
